Tanya Michelle has been writing since the age of 4, and has always dreamed of writing children's books. Her dream finally became a reality in 2010 when she released her first book, "The President Looks Like Me". This book has been enjoyed worldwide and has been featured in magazines, read by countless celebrities, and was even a big hit at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration!
ABOUT ME
In addition to writing, she enjoys promoting the power and importance of education. She was an elementary educator for 10 years, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a Masters Degree in Education.
She continuously draws inspiration from real life situations and real world events. Her desire is to address issues that children face, while instilling purpose, hope, and inspiration.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, meditating, traveling, and talking! She also loves watching her son play basketball, and spending time with her family and friends.
